Daniel Render is a Global Solutions Director for Sustainability, Resilience & Climate Response at Jacobs. He has 29 years of experience as a registered architect and sustainability professional and has served in leadership roles with responsibility for design, master planning, sustainability, and innovation on major urban developments and global event programmes. Daniel served as the Director of Sustainability for the Expo 2020 Dubai Programme and continues to support Expo City Dubai and the Expo Dubai Group as a sustainable cities advisor and has recently worked with Expo to develop their decarbonisation roadmap.
Outside of his work at Expo, Daniel recently worked with experts from across sectors to develop an approach to decarbonization at a city scale that addresses a range of challenges that cities face in addition to reducing and removing carbon emissions, making cities more livable, equitable, and resilient.
